I appreciate philosophy. It's similar to religion in that it tries to answer many of life's great questions (albeit with a very different approach). I wouldn't say that I know an awfully lot about it, but I'll say that yes, I like it.

This thread is basically like the one about math. Except I love philosophy, to much all I think is of philosophy (and my Girl Friend but meh) Corresponding to existence, everything you know and could have known are nothing but entities, emotions are not eternal and death is certain. I like stuff like that, but I know all types of philosophy.

I took Philosophy 101 last year.  I failed the class.  Worse, it, along with several other classes, had left me in a mental fog.  I like the fact that it gets people thinking, but with what I have gone through I resent the subject.  I hope to never take a Philosophy class again.

i think philosophy is an all too human attempt to make life seem more straightforward with rules and clear paths,sometimes it suceeds but ultimately it falls flat,you cant summarise things that vary so massively.it can be nice though,even if only to delude yourself.
