lone-wolf_0991 : You say no one pays attention to Studio Ghibli films, and yet you go on to mention the highest grossing most and most prominent Ghibli films in the US market, failing to mention Castle in the Sky, Grave of the Fire Flies, Whisper of the Heart, or the Castle of Cogliostro!

Also, if you liked Howl's Moving Castle, you should read the book. It's way better. But of course, that's because in the book the castle was a real castle, and it took place in medieval Europe, instead of fantasy Japan.

Definitively Disney, especially The Lion King, I love it. Disney is part of my childhood and it will always be - some of the Pixar movies are quite good, too, but not as good as Disney's.
I'm always kinda nostalgic when I'm watching the movies of my childhood, such as Fox and the Hound, Beauty and the beast, The Lion King, Tarzan, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Mulan, Oliver and Company....Well, I better stop writing them down, cause there are so many of them...I wish the movies would still be like they used to be, with their lovely characters, the great music, and heart-warming stories.

Damn, It's such a hard choice. I mean I would choose Pixar and Studio Ghibli over Disney any day, (certain Disney movies would have a chance, but only a select few), but choosing between Pixar and Studio Ghibli is a hard thing to do. Both studios are great in their own right, but they make different types of movies. I would have to go with Studio Ghibli this time though.

I like Disney and Pixar but if I had to chose it would be
Disney I guess because I grew up watching Disney movies
and my parents would take me to the theaters to see them sometimes.

While I love Disney, I'd have to go with Pixar on this one. Disney hasn't done so well lately, and I've only seen two Studio Ghibli films.

I'd go with Pixar . . . for now, but Ghibli is catching up. Pixar used to be an unstoppable animation making machine with little to no competition but now that other studios are making movies that look almost identical to Pixar's work (Dreamworks, Warner Bros, and Sony) my opinion of them has been diminished. Also I wasn't a fan of Cars and after seeing it the whimsical childish love I had held towards Pixar was gone. Toy Story 3 brought it back a little but I'll never look at Pixar movies the same way again. Luckily the lessons they have taught me haven't been lost so I still hold hope for Pixar.

I have to go with Disney because of my favorite movie being Oliver & Company. Among my other favorite Disney movies, however, are Beauty and the Beast, 101 & 102 Dalmations, Lady & The Tramp 1 & 2, Balto 1, 2 & 3... yeah, basically the majority of the animal movies that they have created. I do not, on the other hand, like the majority of their princess movies - The Little Mermaid is an exception. I -really- don't like Cinderella. It's my least favorite by far.

Pixar, because their movies are great. The quality of the movies they made are among the best I seen, and sometimes I like the story.

Studio Ghibli, though not by a long shot. Pixar could easily become my favorite animated studio again with two or three more well crafted films. Disney Animation is classic of course, but as an adult I can't hook on in on any of the morals. Though, I will say Disney Animated films definitely had the best villains. Hell, I'd pit Frollo up against a lot of live action villains evilness and expect him to come out on top most the time.

Anyways, I happen to enjoy Spirited Away (Which is also my favorite animation in general, well maybe second to The Iron Giant, but TIG doesn't belong to any of these studios) and Grave of the Fireflies a touch more then The Toy Story Trilogy, which happens to be my favorite collection of animations from Pixar.

For a reason, Pixar has classical movies like Monsters. Inc, Cars, the Toy Story trilogy, Wall-E and The Incredibles.

Disney has so much movies. But it is not that classical enough. It is so popular for Disney to have that much characters. Studio Ghibli has nostalgic but not that classical movies. Their characters are so cute that they are kawaii.

That is a hard decision, I really like Ghibli though I think, Hayao Miyazaki has to be one of my favorite anime directors and I love anime in general really. So I choose Studio Ghibli lol XD
