A 4th evolution would make the game so much more fun , however if you make another evolution between 50 and 70 doesn't that mean it would be easy to crush the elite 4.

It would be pretty cool to have a fourth evolution because it would make every Pokémon stronger and it would make them look cooler too.

While extra evolution would be pretty cool, I don't see any reason to change up a formula that has worked perfectly for years. You know how the old saying goes

That could be a possibility. Then again, it wouldn't make much sense evolving your Pokemon a third time. Heck, what would be the next evolution? Like I said, I think it isn't necessary for a 4th evolution. Its fine with 3 imo.

I don't believe it'd be possible anytime soon. It would be too hard to say whether it'd be a good thing or a bad thing. Just because it has/ had a 4th evolution doesn't necessarily mean the pokemon will be powerful and usually that 4th stage will take a lot of time and training and would be a complete waste. The other possibility is that it'd have AMAZING stats similar to that of a legendary perhaps. The only downside I could see to that is because the 4th stage evolutions may not be allowed to participate in online battles and whatnot.

Usually the final (3rd) evolution is powerful enough. If you add a fourth evolution that would make a normal Pokémon as powerful as a legendary, which as, catfight09 : pointed out, would make it useless since you wouldn't be able to use it in competitions.

Maybe they should just make another evolution for pokemon like skitty or purugly or for a pokemon that only evolves once or something like that. It would also be cool if pokemon like Garchomp evolved again at level eighty and pokemon like pidgeot evolved again at like level fifty six or something like that.

Does no one realize there is a Pokémon with a 4th evolution? Gardevoir evolves into Gallade. That is the only 4th tier Pokémon I know of though...

Male Kirlia evolve into Gallade with the Dawn Stone.
Fourth evolutions will be nice, but the addition of whole new Pokémon is always much better.

I would like 4th evolution stage but for some Pokemon it would be a bit over kill. It would only work for some Pokemon who evolve earlier than others not just starters.

I don't think they should be a 4th evolution stage because it might take forever to design and find them.

I would say no. I mean the 3rd evolution stage looks kind of weird sometimes. I can only imagine another.

There have been several claims for the longest sentence in the English language, usually with claims that revolve around the longest printed sentence. There is no absolute limit on the length of a written English sentence. A sentence can be made as long as time allows with concatenating clauses using grammatical conjunctions such as and. Sentences can also be extended indefinitely by the addition of modifiers and modifier clauses, such as
The mouse that the cat that the dog chased ....[1]
or of successive extensions of the form
Someone thinks that someone thinks that someone thinks that...,[2]
which highlights the difference between linguistic performance and linguistic competence, because the language can support more variation than can reasonably be created or recorded.[2] At least one linguistics textbook concludes that "there is no longest English sentence"[3]

In my own opinion , i think there should be a fourth evolution in Pokemon . Not only in game , but also in the anime series , pokemon trading card games , pokemon comics , etc . There should be a fourth evolution of pokemon so that it would be more exciting to play , to watch and to read .. Plus , having a fourth evolution will make your game play more longer than usual because you will have a lot of time raising your pokemons for them to evolve , and thats a good thing for me .. ! How about you ? do you agree on having a fourth evolution in Pokemon .

I think there should be about 10-20 Pokemon that have a fourth evolution because there will be to many Pokemon in the pokedex.

I honestly do not think that there should be a fourth evolution, it just wouldn't make sense to what they have built up with Pokémon already. Even though they did things like that anyway, with the newer regions like the new Pokémon that are suddenly just there and we are suppose to be all like okay they must of been there all along, and the Pokémon that suddenly evolve that didn't in previous seasons (Tangla, Electabuzz etc.) it is just kind of like a middle finger to the fans who have been there from the beginning and loved the series the way it was.
