I just bought a pc controller that has 10 buttons plus a turbo function. I cant seem to figure out how to set it up so i can use it for the games. I went to control panel and it seems to be working there but not in the games. what else do i need to do? Thanks

Ive tried downloading the xpadder, however, when it finishes the Firefox browser says " Firefox(not responding)" and I'm forced to either patiently close the browser and start again or just reboot my computer. The controller seems to be working for my computer, i went to control panel and checked it out, but just not for any of the games. I've also tried several different games for different consoles. still no luck. Maybe it's an issue with my computer?? but yes that particular thread did help, i just cant get it to act right!!! lol Thanks for your help

If Firefox is not responding, then I would guess that you have too many programs and tabs running. Try closing down everything except what you need at that moment. It could free up enough RAM for Firefox to not freeze. Try this out and let me know if it works.

So from what you said, I gather that Firefox freezes while you're downloading Xpadder. Do I have that right?

correct. firefox does freeze while downloading xpadder. i don't believe i have any other windows open while downloading. the only thing that runs is utorrent and i exit out of that before hand and nothing is downloading at the time as far as utorrent is concerned.

All I can think of is that your computer is too slow or maybe your internet is too slow. Try running some virus scans and a disk cleanup to remove unnecessary files that might be slowing it down.

If that doesn't work, you might want to try going to some place with free WiFi. They might have a faster connection.
