A wedding is the symbolic event, in the eyes of the church. It means that, for all intents and purposes, two individuals are as one in the eyes of God.

A marriage is a legal contract, in the eyes of the state. It means that, for all intents and purposes, two individuals get special priveledges and taxes not afforded to those who are unmarried.

WHY would you rather be married than wed?
WHY would you rather be wed than married?

WHY do you think they're the same thing?
WHAT makes you think that one is better than the other?

WHAT is wrong with getting Married?
WHAT is wrong with being Wed?

Lets all put our upbringing aside for a moment, and just laugh about all of this. ;D

This is totaly confusing to me, because for 18 years of my life, i thought weddings, and marrages were the same.

This comedy show went up to the guy that can pass the law on gay marrages, and says that he dosnt want to pass it, because he hasnt found the right man yet, then he praposed to him and everything. He was like 'but it would still be biggamy' .
