Tried Firefox and Ie. Get to the upload page, uploading a small .gif file with an ordinary filename and it seems to be working, but then takes me to an error page displaying a lot of code.

How big in KBs is the file? If it's above a certain limit (150 or so?) then it won't upload.

It's below the limit which is 250KB.

Yeah, that's the same error I'm getting. The image isn't in my folder though.

That's really weird. I just uploaded a gif pic https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/magnumdirectory/viewalbum.php?V=40618&PCID=4I034T282t5C139A494c11n. I had the same message as you and legacy, but it said that it was uploaded successfully too.

The only thing I can come up now, is that maybe the name of the file on your PC isn't right. I mean some uploaders ask to change it (only english letters, not "%" etc).

Right now the guy that implemented this feature isn't working with us anymore. So I can't ask him I'm sure David could fix it, but I know he's too busy right now.

Try to rename your pics before you try to upload them one more time. And if this doesn't work, I think you should let David know about it. And he'll fix it as soon as he finds some free time

Thanks for looking into it. I don't think it's that, 'cos I tried a few different names...simple one-word ones too. I just had another similar error when I logged in just now. Not sure what the problem is but I'll report back if I can't get it to work on a different computer.

I got a similar error when I uploaded my picture for my layout. The interesting part is that the text appeared at the top of the screen, but the rest of the redirect page still loaded below it. It redirected normally so I thought nothing of it. What are the odds that it's connected to the layout editing problem? Anyways,

I'm 100% willing to bet it has to do with the layout system. Because this has only been happening lately.

I have around the same specs. so it wouldn't surprise me if it was connected

I've had issues uploading pictures before, and to fix it I just re saved the file under a different file name. It might be that a file of the exact same file name you picked has been uploaded already, and the server can't have two files of the same name saved on it.
