i accidently hit the save button while at the menu and now when i try and load it takes me right back to the menu. So is there anyway i can search through previous saves and regain all my info?!!! btw the game is pokemon fire red. Thank you!

Do you save in game, or using save states? If you're using firefox, you can look through the save file manager which can be found to the left of users online on the main page in the RGR, you might be able to mess around in there and recover it.

To avoid this you should periodically copy your file in the Save File Manager to slot 2 or 3--then if it happens again, delete the primary save then click Copy Slot 1 next to the file you backed up (either COPY2 or COPY3).
