I actually liked the original pokemon ranger. I think that the 4 challenges portion in the jungle of summerland was really cool.

Also after the first game you basically did the exact same thing in Shadows of Almia, and Guardian Signs. The whole ranger thing should have ended after the first game, after the original pokemon ranger more games were just overkill.
