When I was in Long Island on the bus on my way to a friends house...the bus broke down not even midway through. The next bus would take over an hour to arrive...so I decided to walk....through FOUR towns. My legs were sore and my feet were in pain. Thankfully now I have a car so I don't have to go through that again. PHEW!

my longest trip on foot was from south east austin texas to north austin texas i got suspended from school in the south side because it was an alternative learning center and we lived in north austin but you could not take cash inside the school with you so i had no choice but to walk.

You know that stretch of land at the bottom of Mexico? Yeah it was like 8-9 miles. I remember complaining as I was little. Lol there is one part where u have to time running across a shoreline because of the huge waves to progress. You could see kayakers.

septembern : Wow unreal, mine was similar too that, only it was my Girlfriends house and i didn't 100% know where to go, so i just wandered on foot, Also it wasn't quite as far, but i think it was like 2 and a half miles, but walking around for 4 hours looking for the house was fun to say the least, at least until i got picked up by the cop... lol

Last year I ran the 5-mile run (1 mile for gym and if you do well and finish first you compete in the five-mile run.) because I came in first out of our gym class and ran the five mile in like about 15-20 minutes or so. Me being a great runner I may run cross country some time.
