I think Cynthia is the best, because she's in DPPt, HGSS, and Black and White and she's amazing in Platinum. Her team is tougher in Platinum than DP anyways.

Lance, particularly from the second generation, receives my vote. He was the first champion I battled, and always had a cool, professional air, while still maintaining a level of being the epitome of awesome. My only problem with him, though, is how limited he is in the first two generations. In the second generation, he has to use Dragonite three times because of how limited the element is/was at the time.

I own Pokémon emerald, but I have yet to battle Steve as I need to defeat the Elite Four's champion, so I got no opinion on him. I find Red from the second generation extremely fun to battle because it is as though you're battling Ash, or you're battling yourself. He was also the first trainer I faced to have a level 80+ Pokémon, and the only AI one that I remember to even possess one.

I think Steven is this best. First, he has the same name as me, second, he actually shocked me when I found out he was champion, and he just has the cool, calm demeanor that I love.

No offense, but Wallace and Alder have got to be the worst Champions I've ever seen. I guess Alder has to come with the whole Black/White thing (which I think were terrible games). Lance has definitely been my favorite because of his dragons but he definitely not the strongest. I would have to go with Red. In my opinion, Red is another Ash, just with enough of a brain to evolve just about all of his pokemon .
