Nope, never I'm proud to say I heard they can be painful or something. From what I've seen it looks like a terrifying experience. I've never seen one in person though.

I have seizures all the time They are the type that most people associate with seizures (grand mal tonic clonic).

I have been on a series of different medications and they all seem to have their own negative effects, e.G More seizures, Constant Migraines, Increasing the length and duration of my seizures. etc

Luckily mine is not photo sensitive epilepsy ( flashing lights make you have fits)

But i suppose it is also unlucky that mine can happen ANYTIME ANYPLACE... It's killed me before... (fun times) but you know you just have to accept what life gives you.

I've only technically been diagnosed with epilepsy for about 4 years now. It kinda ruined my future aspirations of joining the armed forces...

Also i will say this that during a fit you don't feel any pain. But when you come round from it, i get a crippiling migraine... Seriously it's like someones smashed my head with a sledgehammer multiple times. I can't remember anything from the last few days. And i usually have to go sleep straight afterwards for usually about 5-10 hours. Plus you also get all the aches and bruises caused from my muscles violently contracting and relaxing all the time.

Sorry about the lecture i just saw a few posts about people saying it didn't hurt or it did hurt and i wanted to explain it a little bit more in depth

I've never had a seizure, but my first boyfriend was epileptic.  I only remember witnessing it four times, but the first time is a little humorous looking back.  (in a sad way!)

We had been at our first prom, and we were talking to some friends of ours when he moved away and out of the room. I thought he was going to the bathroom or something, but after awhile of him not returning, I started wondering where he was at.  Well, I started getting upset, thinking he had just left me, and I found the assistant principal, asking if he had seen my date.  I was just flaring!  Rambling about how upset and hurt I was and how it just wasn't nice of my date and yadda yadda.

Well the A.P. held up his hands to interrupt me and said "Hey, he had a seizure.. "

I was soooo ashamed of my rash reaction!

Then to make the night even more awkward, he couldn't drive around for the rest of the evening, so his parents had to come pick us up and drive us everywhere.  LOL

Never had a seizure before, although I never stared at flashing lights or anything for very long. I did dream about having a seizure in a dream once for... some... reason... But I woke up completely fine...

So I guess I know what seizures are kind of like without having one, maybe? xD

Nope, I've never gotten a seizure.  My best friend has had a seizure before though, like she had such a bad fever that it caused her to have a seizure...  Twice.  I don't think she's gotten one recently though.

No, I thankfully have never had a seizure, but it frightens me how that you could (or would?) have no memory of them happening. I consider myself lucky that I also have never witnessed one. My mother has told me our current dog has come close to having them due to frighteningly high fevers, but luckily has not had any (that we are aware of).

My aunt has had a gran mal seizure once for certain, but probably has had moret han she lets us know. I think it made one of her eyes slightly lazy.

No- not myself. But I have witnessed once.....my neighbor used to have a disorder where he would have a seizure a week....it was very serious and I used to stay at her house all the time and her sister would have a random seizure and we could have to take him too the hospital a lot :| It was sad though.

Nope I've personally never got a seizure. However one kid at my school did have a seizure. Luckly the class knew what to do when it happened (the teacher wasn't in the room at the time the seizure took place).
