I could never remember the last 1/3 of it but thanks for this It brought back a lot of memories.

It also reminded me of my best friend. We did everything together, started Pokemon together and beat it and all. Then a week after Gold/Silver came out I found out he was moving. To finalize our friendship, we had a race. I slept over his house the weekend we got our games, and we saw who was the better Pokemon Master. The Sunday night before I went home, we had beaten the game and assembled our best team. We had one final battle, but I couldn't bring myself to beat him, so in the end I let him win.

I have never regretted the decision, and I thank you a lot for reminding me of my friend
