AS Wesley Snipes character said in the fild with Slyvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock "Ahh Biscuits and Gravy"!

For me the food that talks to my soul is not acutally the taste of my home but for some reason grilled meat and certain crry dishes with excellent naan bread. It is so comforting that dall roti West Indian Style with ground chickpeas in the bread all moist and amazing mopping up a lovely gravy makes my eyes water. Wait a minute that reminds me Biscuits and Gravy!!!!!!!!! oh well there you go we are all the same it seems

Oooh that sounds mighty fine Totts!

I don't really have a food that reminds me of home. My answer will have to be anything that is different from what the rest of the family eats (they all love Italian food but I can't stand the stuff so I get something else to eat).

Homemade chicken noodle soup with lots of basil in it, fresh home-fried chicken with Italian breadcrumb breading, simmering tomatoes or tomato sauce (linked to spanish rice and albondigas, specifically), smoked pork ribs and cornish game hens, and thick juicy grilled steaks... and mashed potatoes.

I think that spanish rice is the biggest one though, my mother makes amazing spanish rice and I have never had anything quite as good in any restaurant.

Sheep...Or anything chewy, Since meat is a very common thing to eat here, the taste would still remind me of this place XD

A lot of foods that I used to eat when I wasn't vegetarian, because back then I was a child. Meatloaf with ketchup, chicken hotdogs, tuna casserole, roast beef, and apple pie, raspberry jam and apple oatmeal cookies. All home-made of course.
