Now I have look though the Ranks Icons
Mario,
Zelda,
Gunbound
Old School poke'mon
Mortal Kombat 3
Doom, 64
Final Fantasy 1

Now are all these ranks icons Paths to different levels of rank postings or just a personal setting Just wondering

Mario, Zelda, and the others are different rank sets.

By making more posts, you advance in rank in the chosen rank set.

If you choose pokemon for example, you star as a bulbasaur, and eventually become different pokemon like a Machamp, Arcanine, or Mew at the very top.

Whereas if you choose Mario, you can be a goomba, Bowser, or Star Mario.

You are stuck at whatever rank level until you make enough posts to get to the next rank, and then you automatically get the newest rank.

yeah, except there is a limit, but its not really defeined I think. Davideo7 has over 10,000 posts and when he chooses to use Pokemon to symbolize his rank he is the last one-Mew, but i guess he likes to use Articuno. I'm like at a magneton and I have over 900 posts.
