What do they know about the project thus far?

Made a thread or two there early on... They were very uninterested, not to mention I think that ZeaLitY has swayed them a bit in that direction as well. He is personally against the idea of a Chrono remake, thinking it would spell the end of the series. (Remember the "How does a CT Remake help the series as a whole" article on the website? That article was written for Zeality. ) While he's been cooperative to a point, I also believe he purposely "forgot" to include us in the "community map" of all CT sites. Whatever the case, that little page wouldn't give us much traffic anyway.

So, to the point...they don't know much, and they haven't been interested in what little they do know.

Hmm that's tough. Not sure what you could do.

Write a short, to the point article in an effort to convince them that a remake of Chrono Trigger would be a good way for Square to test the waters to see if there is potential left in the series. If we convince them of that, it will be easy for them of how much a Chrono Trigger remake would benefit the Chrono Trigger series as a whole.

Senior Project has been murdering me of late... again... and... again... so I apologize for my lack of activity of late. Anyway, this seems pretty interesting. It is a bit late for me to really add in any input, I suppose, but I generally am in favor of your current plan: To tell them WHY a CT remake would be generally good for the series.

Hope they take a look at it with an open mind, and perhaps give us a chance and think for THEMSELVES rather than just believing in Zeality's words. Sure, the guy is well-known by the CT community, and is definitely respectable... but his word alone shouldn't sway EVERYONE to his point of view...

That's the way gamers are sometimes. Just look at IGN's boards, some people there are just so blinded by what company they support say etc.

And about the Christian MMORPG thing... It doesn't come into play with the petition really. It just explains why I've been so craptacularly busy lately. It turns out that I have all the right connections to truly make this happen.

So the business plan is being written now, along with the presentation for investors. Schedule-wise, I'm not sure what happens when after the business plan is done. But I do know that once the whole investor-phase is over, I will officially have a company to run and a lot of staff to hire. Fortunately the investors I'm going after will do a lot of the hiring for you if you wish. And fortunately I have that business plan being written by someone who's done them before and presented to investors before...and gotten a YES from investors before.

Anyway, so I've been working on assisting with the business plan's development wherever I can, and helping with market research on the whole thing.
