I don't think so. I mean imagine a FPS where you move with the analog stick and use the pointer to aim. Then as seen in the Tony Hawk interview you can use the tilting to steer, or in a driving game you could hold it kinda like a steering wheel to steer the car etc. Also the analog stick thing has some motion sensors as well, but not as much as the Wiimote.

The new Mario game looks fun, as done Zelda TP.

Heh, Wii. I'm really actually looking forward to getting one. Although most likely not accurate, there has been a few rumors on it's price.

The controller will take some getting used to perhaps, but it's a new venture into the world of gaming, and I'm willing to try this new thing they got going.
