I LOVE Edgar Allan Poe he's a local poet here, I've read his stories and poetry and have even visited his grave on Halloween (Samhain) and of all his poetry I love The Raven, and The Bells.

I've only read a couple of his stories, and I just can't seem to tell: is he a genius, mentally imbalanced, or both? I mean, the guy's stories were great(ly messed up, that is) but they really show true writing talent. Whatever it is, if every single one of his stories is as good as the ones I've read, then I guess I must be really be missing out.

I find Egdar Allan Poe as a brilliant man. I find his horror-gripping poems very suspenseful and creepy, which is what I like. I especially like his "Annabel Lee", a depressing poem about a lost love.

I have a big-ish (not like a small chapter book) hard cover book of his more famous works. I read a few of them, most notably The Raven; and thought they were interesting, but I guess I just don't understand some of them. lol if I feel like it maybe I can ask someone to explain em. All in all, I think they are well written.

They had a guy dressed like him reading his poems and acting as if he were actually in them! I knew the words to them and just repeated them along with him! The poem Lenore is another great depressing poem in the style of Annabell Lee!
