Probably hundreds or even thousands of religions. These are just the biggest religions.

1,000 members isn't even considered a religion, its considered a cult... You have to have certain qualifications to be considered a religion (I have no clue what they are)... Johovah's Witnesses have millions of members, and they are still considered a cult...

By some they are. But I heard that years ago, can't verify if true.
Like i say in a little while I'll have a chance to make a longer post about this.

Ok let's see now. I'll describe Judaism, Islam, and Christianity the best I can, and give a brief thing abou Buddhism. I stress brief.

Judaism- It dates back all the way to Abraham. Abraham had a son named Issac, who had a son named Jacob. Jacob at one point according to the Bible wrestles with God, and God renames him Isreal. Isrealhad 12 children (hence 12 tribes of Isreal), which include Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjamin, plus several daughters. Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt but rose to be second in command only under Pharaoh. During this time there was a major drought and all of Joseph's family came to Egypt. At this point in time all Jews were in this group (about 70 people). I would assume they intermarried with Egyptions since they were so high on the social ladder. Anyways time passes and a new Pharaoh takes the throne that doesn't know about Joseph. He enslaves the Isrealites/ Jews. They are in captivity for I believe several hundred years. Then of course Moses comes along and the ten plagues happen and the Jews escape Egypt. Later the Ten Commandments are brought down from Mt. Sinai. Eventually hundreds of years later Isreal has a king named David, who is described as a man after God's own heart. His son is king Solomon. He has two sons who become king and split Isreal into Isreal and Judea. They eventually fall into part of the Roman empire.
There are several different types of Jews, some practice all laws that were laid out in the Old Testament, some practice some of the laws, while others do few of them. I'm not sure if Jews use the entire Old Testament or not. Most believe that God has not sent a messiah yet, while others like our friend Jewzilla that believe Jesus is the Son of God and the Messiah.

I'll type up the rest in a little while.

Oh man, we have Mormons all over the damn place where I live, and I'm too nice to people so when they talk to me I talk back to them. The same guys showed up at my house one time when I wasn't home. They're really serious about their religion, Mormons remember everyone they meet too, I'm not even gonna talk about what happened when they found me stoned this week.

I think there are more than 15 million hindu's, but I don't know enough about it or the Mormons to really say much. Though I will say I think the Mormons are pretty secretive. I was talking to a friend at school a month or so ago and she said when she was younger some neighbors she had were Mormons and they had to go to a temple (I think that was what she said). And my friend's mom asked the little girl what they did in the temple, and she started talking about it, but her mom (the neighbor) cut her off. That is why I say they seem pretty secretive. One thing I'm pretty sure I have right is that if your family converts to Moronism (? I guess) after you die, then they may dig you up and convert you to them. It just sounds odd to me.

I'll post as much as I can about the other three religions we have mentioned later.

Like I said I find it very odd. I think your family and the local preacher/minister/ whom ever it is does it after your family converts.

Mormons do some creepy crud... Same with Witnesses... My Ma' was a witness up until she turned 18, then she was disfellowshiped (cut off basically) for dating my Dad... A member who is disfellowshipped is not allowed to associate with anyone in the religion... They didn't talk to her, everyone she ever knew, including her own mother... She didn't know anyone else cept my Dad, because Witnesses arn't allowed to associate with anyone outside of the religion unless they are talking to them about the religion, or absolutely need to talk to them... Bastards....

Back to the subject of Mormons... They have like crazy secret hand-shakes at each temple to prove that your a Mormon... Thats pretty secretive, and scary... Maybe they plan to take over?

All I know now, is that the Mormons are after my soul...and that can't be good for me.
