You guys remember my thread yesterday about me helping that lost dog?

Well, I didn't mention what I saw later that night on the way to church. I saw a cat get ran over by another car, who did it on purpose. I looked back and the poor thing's back half was limp as it tried to get up and lunge off the road. By the time it all unfolded, it was too late to turn back.

I helped an animal and saw one die within 2 hours time. Two opposites.

I hate people. I can't believe I'm going on about animals like this, but it's deeper than that- It's about character. We can choose to help. Help people, animals, whatever. Or we can choose to hurt. Hurt people, animals, whatever. Help. Hurt. Our choice. Our character.

People on this site hate me, I know that. They hate my character, my attitude, whatever. But those people should read this: "Thoughts become words, words become actions, actions become character, character is everything."-Unknown. "I like you, just the way you are"- Mr.Rogers.

I don't give a flying flip what you think about me, but know this- I -try- to be nice. I -try- to help whenever I can. I -try- to be a good person. I know you all do as well.

Forget "trying", let's act now, gang. Let's all pull a Yoda: "Do, or do not do. There is no try." We won't "try" to be better. We WILL be better. Each and every one of us.

Call me a fool for thinking that. Call me a mamby-pampy for feeling bad for a cat that got pancaked. Call me whatever the hell you want. You can "try" to break my stride, but there is no try, remember?

So, who's with me? Who's going to BECOME better with me?

I'd say I qualify as better. The only way for me to improve in the way you speak is to help old ladies cross the street. I'm courteous to everyone. Except noobs. But noobs aren't people =P I keed I keed.

I dont hate you I think your funny and cool actually most of the people on vizzed say i'm the nicest guy on here But I am always nice to people I dont see a reason not to be

P.S. I think you imhere,bobbynibbles,play4fun,and didowe are the most funny and controversial people on here it makes the site more intertaining

JazzCoon : I can honestly say that I know the difference between trying to be better, and actually doing so. This example revolves around two different aspect of my personality. One is my time management. Despite my struggles through college, and having pretty much failed two of my classes last semester, I still see myself in the same position I was before. It might take too long for me to explain, so I think I will just leave it at that.

The second aspect would be my sportsmanship and how I speak to other people. ... I guess that is two aspect right there. The bottom line here is, I used to be a sore loser when I played. I fouled out of one basketball game and was thrown out of two baseball games, but I did not learn my lesson. It all changed when I vented my anger towards one of my closest friends. I do not know how close I came to ruining our friendship. It was a wake up call for me. Since then, I have pretty much dropped my my poor sportsmanship --virtually changed overnight.

Often these days, I feel that there is nothing I can do other than to try to do something. Looking back, I see that I am wrong. Thank you for sharing.

I don't know anyone who hates you man. But I do try to be better all the time. Sometimes you need to be down before you can get back up. I've been down so long that I decided to get up. I feel that I keep improving myself, however, I never see the strides that I have made. That's changing. What's the point of self-improvement if you're unhappy with yourself regardless?

Jazz, hating YOU is like hating life, you're cool, funny, and nice. i loved that d-com, and i can tell from this thread that you are just a good person. i know what you mean. because don't we just about all work day after day to improve ourselves?

Show me the change and I'll accept it. I'll admit it's been a while since anything from you that I don't like, but there's still an air of aloofness about your posts; you seem to be justifying yourself over and over.
But I give, you are getting better.
I never hated you, but you really, and I mean really, pushed it with your "jokes" that seemed to offend most people.
So stay on the path you're on is I guess what I'm trying to say.

I do not believe anyone on here hates you, it was just the vulgar comments that you posted about other members that not only hurt their feelings, but hurt you worse overall.

I understand. Human beings depress me sometimes. I can look around and see wars, murders, robberies. Where's the humanity, the dignity and respect for life and love? And although we can't just try, I sigh when I see those that don't give a darn to even try. I respect your view on things, it is a refreshing change from the dull sadness of things.
