Here's a poem I wrote in class today. It took about, oh, 15 minutes to make. I've decided to take a Edgar Allen Poe-sortish style.

Time passes by,
a day, a week,
a month, a year;
yet nobody forgets
the times they fear,
even upon such day
so calm and clear.

They happen to ones
so innocently bystanding
'till their alert bell
starts to go ringing;
as their beautiful day
suddenly goes nay,
while they find hazards happening.

Nothing,
not possibly happening,
can be so horrific as this;
Physically, mentally, morally, do-for-ing-ly,
no tale be told
simply by telling;
even told true to the word,
and even quite possibly absurd,
yet no tale shall tell,
the entire true occurence.
