I was wondering maybe you could put an option for cheat codes on the games? and these games are old, so it should be like gameshark codes and the code devices for the other systems (i know you would need to put in gameshark codes for all types gameboy games. you would have to figure out the hacking device for other systems.) P.S. if a rom does not have any codes due to it being from a system without a hacking device or if it is a rom hack (i don't think you can cheat on hacks.) you don't need to put in hacks.

If you hit escape when playing certain systems, it will open up a sub menu with some options and some of the options might let you put in codes that you can find by googling the game. For example, the snes plug in emulator is zsnes, which will pause the game and open up a menu with lots of options when you hit escape.

Raiden1 :

You can't use any codes like Gameshark or Action Replay on any of the Gameboy systems, but any games that have hidden passwords should work.

An example of a game with hidden passwords would be a game like Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Even though it's not a Gameboy game, it follows the same concept regarding in-game passwords. In that game, when you beat a certain number of levels the game provides a password. When you go back to play you can go to the passwords part of the in-game menu and input the password to skip ahead a few levels. Here's a screenshot of the menu to prove my point:
