tbh i actualyl get more jealous over successful realtionships i know that sounds sad but i hate it when people are all up in your face that they're a couple and your facebook homepage gets cluttered with i got the bestest girlfriend ever or i love my bestest boy friend ever 'we spent the most lovliest day at the zoo and ate lovely ice creams' arrg its so annoying and my whole friend group has split up into like 2 couples and a few friends the thing is ive onyl joined the school a year ago so 1 of the couples has always been there but this new one gets on my nerves sooo much, i was happy for them at first but  now their just ridiculously annoying, you know those couples that constantly like shouting and being in your face to everbody about their realtionship :|

I most certainly have. This one time my friend was with this girl and just kept rubbing it in every ones faces. It was especially annoying because she was amazing and a bit flirtatious. If she wasnt with him i wouldnt have ever met her, she being from a different town but everytime i saw them i secretly plotted to break them up so i could be with her.

I only get jealous if one of my friends enters a relationship built purely on lust, and it isn't even jealousy at that.  It's just knowing someone would enter a relationship with no emotional attachment, and no chance of growing one (Despite what movies, books, etc say.)  Sure, some may form an actual relationships from purely physical ones, but they're rare cases.    Also, taking the boyfriend/girlfriend title means that no one has a chance to actually form a real relationship with them because it marks the two as "off limits" in most peoples minds.  At least with "Friends with Benefits", people are free to try and make an actual connection.
