Seriously, what is the most tropical animal you have ever tasted?

For me it was when I went to a restaurant as a kid and my parents gave me some nuggets and I was enjoying them until they told me it was gator

Many years later a friend asked me to eat some snails with him as they were so good,it was okay at first, but I almost gagged when the reality of the whole thing caught up with me.

Ostrich should be pretty neutral I thought but I could not stomach that either.

and then there was the time my friend fed me a weird tasting stew and started laughing that I had just consumed snake well probably not, but he has eaten a fair amount of bush meat in his time, but I don't think the weird taste was more likely down to his appaling cooking skills!
