Wow. I think I might be the only person here who DOESN'T know any deep, dark, personal secrets of their friends. To be honest, I don't really WANT to know the deep, dark, personal secrets of my friends. Hopefully, they don't have too many.

I know a few secrets, yeah. One recent one shocked the hell out of me since I did not see it coming, even though it was not a major thing. I still felt honored that I was trusted with it though, as I am only one of two that knows.

i have been told alot of secrets as im god at keeping them so my friends
know they can tell me anything some things are really strange but it doesn't
affect our friendship at all.

Sometimes you just have to let things go.. and I didn't think there was nothing importent to say to them anyways.. so I just left it alone.

Had a best friend tell me about being assulted as a kid, by his grandpa, never thought worse of my friend for it of course. I'm happy he trusted me, but I don't know if I wanted to know...To me though, it's all about morals. If a friend does something, makes an action, then that's what kind of person they are. People can learn and grow...people can forgive...but if you do something bad more than once, that's who they are. As in...

You steal=you're a thief=I can't trust you

I've been in that situation quite a few times. One time, well the girl was one of my stalkers, but before she went completely psycho on me, she used to tell me she cut herself. I was like, wow, I didn't want to know that.

Another time, I was in HS, and one of my friends wasn't allowed to date and she would date this guy I was friends with and he wasn't allowed to date either. They both wanted me to lie for them and I refused. I always tell people; "Iyou don't want anyone to know, then don't tell me!" But they never listen and tell me anyway.

I've learned a lot of things about my friends that I didn't want to know, for example, I used to talk to a lot of my friends girlfriend's and found out the size of some of my friends "units". Really useless information I don't want to know... but its never affected my friendship with anyone.

I've also heard some other things, like I've had friends that have come and told me about their past, like one of my friends held a gun to a young girl and ended up in a foster home, or others who have been sexually assaulted and they confide in me about things like that. Some of them I don't talk to anymore because of it. Not everyone is bad cause history shapes how they are as people in the end. My friend who opened to me about the young girl is not a bad person anymore, and he regrets everyday the actions he made in the past and for that I respect him and I don't judge him on his actions.

Good question,  I would have to say...no.  I do not believe that my friends told me something that I didn't want to know, except for joking around about things that just is not right lol.

DBDonald : YES to your first post i feel exacly like that or at least used to i know exacly how that feels, the unconfortable talk about her sex life then the worrying stuff about previous experiences that make me scared for her, i really hope shes not lying but it made me very confused i havent seen her in quite a while now but i think i distanced myself from her on accident :/

I learned one of my friends had actually violated and had been inappropriately touching a 12 year old girl. (He was 16 at the time) On the same day, he also brought a fake gun to school which had the school go on lockdown. Also the same day, he had broken into my house and stolen about $400 worth of stuff.
