It all depends on what you like. I personally like the newer ones do to the fact that the quest has expanded, but when you look, the main story is the same thing.

I think the best Pokemon game made is Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2. Unlike the other games for gameboy, Stadium is more realistic as far as Pokemon battling.

spectergaj : well everyone has thier own opinoins because for gameboy it is faster to save and load. And on the ds you could have other accesories( did i spell it right?) for instance the pokewalker is an accesorie for ds and in the palpark you can send pokemon from gba games. leafgreen and firered, emreld, ruby and siphiare.

I don't really feel that either one is better than the other since they're the exact same game except for 15 missing pokemon in each. other than that they're pretty much the same.
