i bought a wooden 6-hole flute while i was in salmon arm, and it seems pretty easy to -play. i can play battle of the fates from star wars the phantom menace, has anyone ever played a flute? easy as it is to play you run out of breath pretty quickly on the high notes.

I've never played the flute! I've always wanted to...I remember in third grade being asked to pick 3 choices of instruments we'd like to play...flute was my first, violin was my second, and clarinet or bass clarinet was my third choice. I was given Bass Clarinet so I've never got the chance to play the flute. I love the soothing sound it makes. I think it's definitely one of the best sounding instruments there is.
