yeh i noticed. although no one has fully replaced the last batch i think, it was 40,50,70 posts a day and no one new has done that so i guess its either a transition period or a result of so many people leaving/reducing activity.
I think activity started to slide around the time noelia left. I doubt thats the cause but thats when people started slinking off or reducing activity. Before that i had about 40 posts a day. My average now is 7 but its lower than that.

I remember way back then when vizzed was at a period of transition from old to new. It sure was a tough time... and I have to say that I miss lots of the older members that I used to talk and have fun with that had quit visiting vizzed.

geeogree : That was pretty interesting. On vizzed you breezed right through becoming a Modereator. Lol well I wish you the best of luck right now geeogree, and stay cool ok, and from the looks of it your a pretty decent respectable person. You are now moving to my biography as a 5th best friend maybe you will move up I hope you do dude. Your an awesome person on vizzed, hope you never leave but from the looks of it you won't be because, you have been here for 8 years already.

Hi Geeogree. I noticed this the other night, I thought it was interesting how Vizzed used to have more older users who used the board. Also you're a hockey fan, that's cool, their are not a lot of hockey fans where I live now. I love watching the games. I used to ice skate when I was younger, I experimented with roller blade hockey too lol.

It seems like you know a lot about vizzed!
I can't believe that you remember all of this!

That was a awesome story! I am glad to see you are posting here because you are like a relic of Vizzed, or  you are like Vizzed's mascot. That green slime thingy. I hope to be around to make my own story like this too!

I really need to get around to writing something for 2011 and 2012. 2013 hasn't been too interesting. Just my return

I'll get around to it as long as this thread keeps getting bumped.

So this is the history of Geeogree, I've been wondering why Geeo was so famous until now.

Bumping to convince you to write the 2011, 2012 and 2013 part ;D

I'm a little late to replying to this (by about 2 years lol). I don't remember if I ever read this (since I never responded) but I just read it now and it was definitely a good read. I've done a few history threads myself but it's very cool to see the history of vizzed through someone elses perspective.

Yeah it's amazing all of the things Vizzed has gone through and how it has managed to overcome some massive obstacles. I admit that the userbase wasn't the greatest in late 2009 but we would eventually add a few features over the next few years which greatly helped increase the quality of posts compared to late 2009 (such as the Newbie Quiz, various newbie limits, forums dedicated to the newbish posts, etc).

Anyways, I'd love to see you update the thread to include all of 2011, 2012 and part of 2013.

Davideo7 : yeah, it's a matter of racking my brain to remember everything that happened in those years (from my perspective) and having the time to type it all out. I should probably just start a text file in notepad and write as I think of stuff.

I should probably re-read what I wrote before doing that though

Black Bot : Oh, you should have been hear just a little under 2 years ago. Actually, it was not very long after I joined the site. Vizzed got hacked hard. It was under constant attack. The site lost a huge chunk of its activity. For a while, even David was almost convinced that it would be the end of Vizzed. It was not good times.
