Jig: yeah, it was.... it seemed like an bad excuse to extend the series but had very little to do with the actual storyline that most of the other films followed. I mean, what relative was he going after in that movie? Sure he got Lorie in the beginning but after that it was just killing? Come on.


Miles: Well, boring does not always equal worst ever. I didn't think it was the most exciting film ever but it was well done when it comes to the comic book or game to film genre's. At least that franchise didn't self-destruct like the ego-maniac filled X-Men series. Why they killed so many people off in the movie I won't ever know.

I'm sure they could do a fourth if they weren't doing all those x-men origin films. But really, without Jean Grey, Cyclops or Xavier what's the point. Those 3 are the core of the x-men. Sure they could bring in Gambit and maybe make some of the "kids" more prominent (Ice Man, Rogue etc.) but it just wouldn't seem right without Jean, Cyclops and Xavier.

yeah my sis wasnt going to watch the 3rd beacuse jean died in the second and she was her favourite character. but she did in the end. i think that whole phoenix thing was a tad overrated

yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that series. It does seem to follow the activity of wolverine too much.



Lord of the Rings however is an awesome movie/series. Sure it isn't always fast paced but it's not like it's a drama with a whole bunch of stuffy dialogue that goes nowhere. You get huge awesome landscape shots and graphics and stuff. I found have of the interest of the movie was how they made everything look so real. I admit it didn't make me jump out of my seat with excitement but just because it was a little "boring" doesn't make it a bad movie either.
