Im afraid thats how it goes in the anime downloading realm. You just need a fast internet connection. If you have dial-up don't even bother. If you do it constantly you should be able to get about 5 episodes done. Or just leave an entire series on for about 5 days, its tedious but as they say "a watch kettle doesn't boil" or atleast thats what my grandmother tells me all the time.

Oh I know all about that and the such, It's just some torrents I've tried have been un-needidly slow.

I'm on pretty fast DSL connection and good torrent will push 200kb/s - But most anime torrents I've found only push 3kb/s due to leechers.

Finally got torrent stuff running. I'm using BitComet for those interested. So far I've had 2 big files downloading since yesterday morning...hmmm...one is at a solid 16% and the other is at 25.3%. Making some progress? Oi...takes forever but I'm hoping it will be worth it. Gotta get these off my computer soon though because they completely fill up my spare 38.1 gig hard drive and these are only my first downloads! T.T

You might get the same problem as me, for some torrents it "crashes" or just stops working after about 10 minutes or so, but when I start the download again it'll work again ... for awhile. Luckily the torrents that have done this too me in the past usually go up to about 100kb, so it doesn't annoy me that much in the end.

I'm surprised that surprises you though. My friends claim that 100kb is the normal for them ... and I saw one of my friends getting something at about 250kb.

I have no idea how they do that. I think it has something to do with your Firewall ... but yeah.
