i don't know if this is only me, but whenever i try to save a file on Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen it doesn't work

please tell me if there is anyway of fixing this

if not then i will just play another game.

press f2 to save state, then when u start game again, press f4 to load it. you can also press f2 before you face, say, a gym leader, and if you lose, you can press f4 to go back in time (in game) to when you pressed f2!

epic-san pretty much covered it. You will run into this problem in most of the Pokémon games on the site. It's just how the ROMs work. Just stick with the RGR saving and you'll be fine.

Because saving and loading works using F2 and F4, they probably won't be working on fixing the in-game save anytime soon. Just remember that you can't beat the Elite Four. If you do and you save, then you will lose your game. It has happened to people before and it's not fun.

It's not something we can fix since it's a problem that's in all emulator's. Anyway this question has bee answered, I'm closing this. BTW this was in the wrong forum, next time you have RGR troubles put it in the RGR forum please.
