11-15 gets 50 V

I am going to review The Last Samurai.

The Last Samurai is an action movie, with a tightly woven story. It is set in late 19th century Japan. The emperor wants to modernize Japan, by bringing in firearms, fashion, ideas, etc. from the West. The main character is Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise) is an American soldier and will end up in Japan. Not going to give away any more of the plot here.

The actors do pretty well. The special effects, although not as flashy as something like LotR are done very well. Most of the actors at some point speak Japanese. A really great movie altogether.

I give it a 4.5/5
