totts is never short of running out of ideas, chocolates, flowers, cards, romantic meals, oh how I have been lucky to enjoy all these things on Valentines, but what I really want is to feel special and too spice things up a little bit.

I wonder what things you have done, planning to do, that were a cut above the usual dinner/date thing that we all do anyway.

Well, this year there is a literal spicing things up since we are going out for curry... but I doubt that is what you are looking for here.

For our first Valentine's day, my fiance and I went to Primm, NV (aka Stateline, aka Vegas without the all the crap). Had a nice weekend and then went to Outback Steakhouse when we returned. Another thing I have done is writing him little notes telling him how much I appreciate and love him, and leaving them on his computer to find when he got home from work.

This year is kinda bland, but I think we both put more importance on our anniversary than on Valentine's day anyway.
