How do you beat the elite 4 without your game deleting?

If you have passed it without it having to delete your game, put in anything peculiar you did and/or what internet browser you were using



EDIT: never mind for those of you who want to know:
I didnt speed up when it says SAVING in the elite 4
I put the RESET button on the bottom screen at the credits
i used firefox
Tip: Manualy save before going to the elite 4, then press f2 anytime besides the last pokemon(usualy gyarados) save before gyarados then KO gyarados DO NOT PRESS f2 IN THIS PROCESS if it deletes your data, then retry, and if not, then purposely lose against gyarados
