Do you have a problem with authority? or anybody els telling you what to do? for instance law enforcement,teachers,parents,boss or friends.

I don't have a problem with authority and I don't think most people do. I think when it becomes a problem is when we feel the authority starts over-stepping it's bounds and tries to control more than it should be.

Parents will always tell me what to do, in a way, but it doesn't mean I do what they say.
But I don't see it as a problem, it's just what parents do..

I have no problem with authority. Only when authority starts using their authority as an excuse to be complete jerks. So I'm hardly "rebel against the system," more "rebel against the people abusing the system."

No, only when people abuse the position they are in.

We all do,it is all a matter of perspective.

M!cH@3l 001 : Well when I was younger I definitely had a problem with authority but I chalk that up now to perhaps teenage adolescence. I have always been a bit head strong and there is certainly nothing wrong with that but I also feel that one needs to listen and more often then not heed the advice of those with a bit more wisdom at a younger age.


It took me a good while to straighten myself out after a rough go as a teenager but I freely admit that advice back then when I was down by a few select people is what helped me turn things around. Today it is not perfect by no means but the advice and getting me to commit to my writing career I truly believe is what saved me when I was on a path to no where. I truly believe that.


This is one reason why I like to offer advice to young kids now because if I can contribute in some way to making sure a kid doesn’t go through the hardships that I and others that I know have then I feel like I have made a difference and that’s all I ever try to do. Some people have goals of achieving wealth and or fame and to indulge in whatever riches they may be fortunate enough to obtain should they accomplish whatever goal they set out for themselves.



For me, I of course want to gain recognition for my work and perhaps to gain a decent financial standing where I can live comfortably. I don’t need to be rich and famous… to me to just be considered by those whom I’ve come across as a good person/good man is more valuable then anything else.



It seems a bit modest and maybe even boarder line corny but that’s how I truly feel about it.

I do not have a problem with authority, or teachers, unless they are corrupt, and are wrong about something. Like geogree said unless they over step boundaries; here in California cops will pull you over suspicious of one thing, and ask you about another. Some ppl get caught in this cause, cause some are too scared too lie, or get intimidated. Basically some cops here are real vultures.

For the most part, yeah. I really don't prefer people telling me what to do unless it's good advice or makes me better. I'd rather make my own decisions on most things. Parents epecially. I'm a rebel when it comes to listening to them. LOL Any other authority i choose to listens to them, because i don't want to get in any trouble.

No, but if someone assaults me and tells me about the authority, I will start to flip out.

No problem. Then again, I don't really deal with authority that much.

They try to keep you down by rules, so yes (been in trouble with it for a while now)
