I've played the Godfather, and beat it.

Godfather is a 3rd person Action Adventure game based in the 1930's which is again based off of the 1972 movie of the same name.

In the Godfather, you basically start as an Outsider to the New York Mafia scene, and work your way up the ranks, from Outsider to Assosicate, Assosciate to Soldier and Soldier to Capo ... then eventually Don of New York City.

You do this by doing the basic missions for the Corleone family, as well as extorting buisnesses, and 'roughing people up'.

You really get the feel of being a gangster of the 1930's. It's not all just shooting, and extorting though, there's a pretty decent storyline as well as the ability to drive and explore Little Italy, Brooklyn, Hell's Kitchen and Midtown.

All in all, it's a great game, I'd definantly reccomend it.

The Game is Huge to, takes like a week just to get Don Ranking, and do your own thing from that point. And its the only game ive seen with realistic fire from the Explosions and Granades etc. Its Like GTA Series.

I bought it, I actually thought it was pretty good. Great storyline & follows the movie most of it. You should get it.
