My neighbors are friendly for the most part. They're immigrants from Indonesia and barely speak English. The deepest conversation we've had is saying hello and bye. It's a mid aged elderly couple so I don't have the loud parties/music problem that you may have.

Most of them keep to themselves. When I was younger, we had awesome neighbours. There was an old lady down the street (who shared the same b-day as me) and I used to get her mail for her every day. Also a few other people. But now, I barely talk to my neighbours.

I don't even talk to my neighbours, maybe a polite "hi" when we come across each other. I personally dislike one of my neighbours. This guys have literally all the nights a new birthday party, not regular parties, just birthday ones, idk why! For example today. All the night I hear them trough my window singing "happy bithday" at 2 am.

I used to know a lot of my neighbors, but most of them have moved away. My next door neighbor moved out to the Midwest somewhere. I'm in New England, so that is pretty far. When everyone did live on the street, we usually spent New Years Eve together and occasionally organized other stuff to do as a group.
