I don't think the soul is a material mass, and thus as it is immaterial it doesn't really have a "location" in the physical sense. I believe there's even a school of thought that says our souls are already in Heaven, but don't quote me on that; I'm like 90% likely to be wrong.

If you think about it, once a person is dead...the heart stops functioning.
When this happens, the soul dies out along with the rest of the body....
