I've read about a lot of religions, especially Christianity, Buddhism and various forms of Paganism. I am spiritual but I don't have a specific religious denomination. It is interesting to learn about each one, even if you don't believe in it specifically.

I have not read very much about Islam, only a few articles and facts. But in general it doesn't seem like something I could get into...

I prefer not to, because if you read an encyclopedic journal you tend to see a lot of generalization, and you wind up getting a good look at the mind of a stereotypist trying to be "neutral." I prefer to get my facts about belief systems by talking to people who share them. For example, a lot of friends of mine are surprised to hear that I'm a very devout Christian - one has even told me that I restored her faith in the religion. I also learned a lot about atheist thought by talking to atheists, and spiritualist with spiritualists.
