HAVE you ever heard of SwordQuest? The game with a purpose to be part of a contest. No?I will tell you a little bit about it.Theres four games called earthworld, fireworld, waterworld(NOT THE MOVIE)and airworld. If you had been part of the Atari club you would be given a copy the day the game was realsed with a copy of a comic book. The winner of these contests would get valuable trasure worth 25,000$(WOW).Well earthworld consisted of picking up items and dropping them on diferent rooms. If you put the item in the right room you would get a clue. The clues consisted of finding subliminal messages in the comic you wher given.Of 5,000 entries only 8 got the clues right the winner was Steven Bell, who was 20 and lived near Detroit at the time.he was given "Talisman of Penultimate Truth".Made of 18k of gold with 12 diamonds and the birthstones of the twelve Zodiac signs worth over 25,000$(ALL THE TREASURES ARE WORTH THIS MUCH).Then fireworld came out,it was pretty much the same thing but slightly different.More than 50 people made the cut,so Atari said that they had to write what they liked best about the game.Out of the 50, Michael Rideout was the victor and received the "Chalice of Light".The Chalice was made of gold and platinum and was adorned with citrines, diamonds, green jade, pearls, rubies, and sapphires.Well then there was waterworld as you suppose its about water right?Well... your right. The winner would recive "Crown of Life",which was made of gold and encrusted with aquamarines, diamonds, green tourmalines, rubies, and sapphires. Thanks to the videogame crash of 1983 they had to cancel at the last minute.the theres airworld and it is just as it is just air. This game never got relesed. Supossedly the winner would get a "Philosopher's Stone", a large chunk of white jade in a 18K gold box encrusted with diamonds, emeralds, citrines, and rubies. Then the four winners would compete for the ultimate prize "Sword of Ultimate Sorcery"a sword with a gold handle encrusted with jewels, and a gleaming pure silver blade which was valued at $50,000

,but since the other prizes wher never given this sword was never heard of.But wait, what happend to those 3 tresures?According to the workers of Atari the buyer of the company Jack Tramiel kept these treasure after the display before the contests! What happend to these treasure is a mystery. What do you think happend?QUOTE BY ERTY: DAMN TYPOS MORE INFORMACION HERE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swordquest
