I've been in the mood to type up some poetry lately. And I figured, why not post them on Vizzed? These poems are just on the spot, random poems so there's no pre-thought to this. Basically, I opened up the new thread page and started typing. Post comments, criticism, or even your own poems. Who knows where the thread could go? Perhaps we could even turn it into a thread where one person types a few lines then the next person types the next few lines and make one huge poem? But, anyway, enough rambling from me... On with the poetic magic! ^0^

Falling stars and cradle dust, leaving the flowing trails.
Listen to songs of wisdom and love and granting wishes to forgotten men.
Singing to trees and whispering to the animals, I hear call so frail.
Lightly beckoning me to return to the beauty once again.

Leaning against the strong willows and oaks, I feel the security here.
Nature's breast a valiant host to my heart, my soul, myself.
Her arms are warm, strong, and brave. They chase away my fear.
But over time, human kind, to nature a hand has dealt.

To tear her down, and scar her skin, mankind should be ashamed.
We take for granted what she provides and harm her everyday.
For all the harm, each and every one of us are to be blamed.
Have a heart, save a tree, and find another way.

Now, like I said, this is all on the spot and just typed up on a whim. So, comment, criticize, or respond with another poem. All poetry is welcome so don't feel that you need to rhyme or follow any pattern. Just be creative. It doesn't even have to hold a definite meaning.

Thanks for the compliment and yeah I accidentally put it in the wrong area. Haha. I was distracted by people at my house and didn't quite pay attention. Sorry! ^-^;;
