When I was young I lost a bear at a mall and my world ended, how I wish I still had that bear.

I also lost my grandfather, though not an object and I am crying now about that.

This may seem odd, but I lost a Beanie Baby that my mom gave me once and felt terrible about it. She loved those things, and giving me one was a big deal to her. When I lost it, I felt like I betrayed her trust in me. I also had a rough time when she died, because I blamed myself for it for a very long time.
