if any of u guys ever played FF9 u'd think the same as i do. Eiko from ff9 is the most useless. she has the same ability as ....garnet (crap i almost forget her name). all she is is a low health, weak attack, weak defense, hardly any damaging moves, who can summon weak summonings... character. useless. :]

Edit: yes same ability, but garnet has much more greater summonings than her.

Defnitely Umaro, and I would say Yuffie. I get her every time I play FF7 because I make her into a magic user after Aeris is gone. Also didn't like Cait Sith very much in FF7. I thought his Limit Breaks were stupid...

I didn't like FF9 much either and thought Quina was pointless.

The most worthless character in FF history is indeed Umaro, followed in my opinion by Half the cast of Final Fantasy 12... I mean the only one of them with a decent personality was Balthier, the rest all seemed cut and paste...

mmmm id say aerith in ff7, but she played a good part in crisis core, so i don't know... other than that... id say they were pretty good choices... and i liked wakka so... yeah. also, i think in ff1 the black mage is only good in the part where they go to elf place to not much later. he needs to be stronger.

I gotta say final fantasy dissidea is one of my favorites besides 7 and 7crisis core. dissidea has emperor eda and jehct cloud sephrioth kain cecil that damn monkey boy overall its a straight up fighiting game one on one on the psp i rom hacked it to play on my psp without having to buy the game for like 50 bucks so no disk needed for me no scratches haven to replace the characters can run up walls and unleash awesome finishers. it is a must play.

I didn't really like the entire cast from FFV, neither was there anyone on FFXII that I really liked in particular, except for Fran, lol. On FF2, the character you had that would always die was always useless to me, since I knew they were going to keep dying, why bother buying them good equipment or teaching them spells? That was a pretty annoying thing to have to deal with.

Vaan from FFXII. He did absolutely nothing to further the storyline. It would have made so much more sense if they would have made Basch the main character. He's the one who moves the storyline. Everything you do in the game is something he tells you to do. You fight HIS brother near the end. He pretty much does everything the main character of a game is supposed to do. Vaan didn't further himself at all. He started out as a kid on the streets stealing money. Now he's a kid on the streets stealing money with an airship. Penelo too. She never changed at all. Pretty much the only thing about her that changed was her clothes and those didn't change until the final cut scene. Honestly, you could play as Basch and never have met those two and the story would not be seriously effected. So Vaan won't kill some rats in the sewer and steal some treasure. Big whoop.
