Today is Wednesday, September 23rd, 1998. The time is 11:50 PM.
You struggle to remember where you are and what you're doing, but it comes to you rather quickly.

You're in a pub, located about fifty miles away from your home.
Normally at this time you would be at work, but after what happened today, you could care less.

Today was your last trip to court to settle your divorce.
Not only did you have to drive a few states over to your ex-wife's homestate, but you lost half of your crap as well. Not that there's much worth losing, in your opinion.

You're going to be staying in a hotel just a few feet from here, so you decide to get as drunk as you can, while you can.

It seems nothing's happening other than your headache growing.
What the hell kind of alcohol is this, anyway?
And on the subject of questions:
Who are you, and what's your occupation?
