Hey guys, should I get a boxed Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for N64, or Super Mario Sunshine for GC?

I have them both reserved at the game store, and they both seem awesome, so what do I buy?

They both cost the same, $19.99, and the box is slightly damaged for the N64 game. Super Mario Sunshine is really rare, and I've been looking for it for the last year. On the other hand, boxed retro games are cool, and valuable.

What do I do?

Wow, what a dilemma, I can't decide .

Personally, I would go for the N64 one. Since that game isn't on VC, it'll be a lot harder to find. Sunshine should pop up somewhere else... I've seen it several times in my area. It may not be common, but it is moreso than Star Wars Episode 1 Racer.

Well.. according to www.videogamepricecharts.com Star Wars Episode 1 Racer is worth about 99 cents without the box... So I did a search for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-WARS-EPISODE-RACER-Nintendo-64-w-Box-N64-/370481016272?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item564263add0#ht_735wt_1139

There is a copy of Star Wars Episode I Racer with the box but no instruction manual for "Buy it Now" for $6.09, with no shipping.

Now as for Super Mario Sunshine, VideoGamePriceCharts says it's worth about $13.50

http://catalog.ebay.com/?_pid=8847 there is a list of the copies available on eBay

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000066JRN?ie=UTF8&tag=price-guides-20&condition=used&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325 Here is a list for copies sold on Amazon

I understand that the boxed classic games are cool, but if you're giving $19.99 for one of the two then I would go for Super Mario Sunshine. It can be found a couple dollars cheaper than that online, but I didn't check shipping costs for any copies of it.

So personally, I say go for Super Mario Sunshine.
