For me, Episode III was the best for two big reasons: A, there were more lightsaber duels in III than in any other episode, and B, Yoda vs. Palpatine in the Senate Halls was epic.

I loved 'Return of the Jedi'. It was the best one in my opinion simply because it wrapped everything up so well. Not to mention the Sith Lord finally gets a boot in his a**.

I really wanted to vote for two movies =/

I ended up voting for III, but VI was right with it. I loved how III made so many things make more sense in the original trilogy. Definitely the best of the six.

Revenge of the Sith is the best. Even though it was technically third in the series, I feel like it was a better end than Return of the Jedi. It explained every Star Wars question that was left. Plus it had Yoda fighting the emperor. It was by far the best movie for fights.

I love episode IV. It was the story that started it all. You meet the actors that became big from it like Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. Without them we wouldn't have other awesome movies like The Fugitive or Indiana Jones.

For me, it would have to be "Return of the Jedi" especially the original addition. Though, all of the first three movies produced in the series were excellent. The only one of the last three movies to be produced that came anywhere close the first three was "Revenge of the Sith", which was a pretty good movie.

Empire was my favorite. The feeling of futility throughout the film is powerful. I also re-watched A New Hope recently. At the begining with Luke on Tatooinee was awesome. The music, the sweeping shots of Luke staring at the horizon, dreaming for a way "off this rock" was brilliant.

I can't believe any of you voted for 1-3.... those were TERRIBLE.

I picked Return of the Jedi. By far the best one of the series. I love the original trilogy... and I can watch any of them any time.... but Return of the Jedi was awesome.

The new trilogy is so poorly put together it's disgusting. The ONLY thing it has going for it are special effects.... beyond that it's a terrible bunch of movies.
