As the title says. Let it be a country, a city, etc you choose what and why.

If you ever happen to go to Holland then definitely visit Rotterdam and while there
go and find a pub called "Exit", esp on Friday nights, very nice live jams there !
And of course Spain Tarifa is gorgeous...find the platform where Coelho wrote his
"Alchemist" and visit it in the evening - the lights of Africa across the bay are magical.

aili : There's a club here in New York called "Exit" too, very popular club actually.

I recommend going to somewhere in Europe or South America...because I've been to both continents and it's much simpler to live there than it is here. Everything is cheap...the people are attractive and nice...what more could you ask for? Any city or country in either continent is a guaranteed good time/experience.
