I had purchased an Apple IIe computer in the 1980's, and back then, (because there was no WWW), my computer seemed nothing more than an extremely expensive calculator/calender. I happened to pass by a video store and saw the game Wizardry displayed in the shop window so I purchased it; I love to play games of all kinds: board, video, cards. Well, this game gave me many hours of enjoyment and even though there are video and PC games which far exceed the original Wizardry series in, graphics and ease of playablity, I, personally, like Wizardry more. Because the graphics in Wizardry are so sparse, you use your imagination more and even though the mazes were tricky because of one-way doors, turn-about rooms, and teleportation rooms, I overcame those obstacles by buying a graph paper pad, and charting my maps on it. All in all, it was a very enjoyable game and I used to play it often. I was very glad to find this site which features Wizardry and some of the other "original" PC games.
