I don't use items so much, but I guess I'll say the pokeball. I've never seen Deoxys yet, but I HAVE seen Mew and Celebi, and I saw one other unexpected legendary once, but I forgot what it was... It wasn't one of the birds or beasts, it was a different one... Maybe it was Manaphy or Phione. Now that I think about it, I think it was Manaphy. I was too slow to take a pic either way though, so I can't prove it...

I love most of the Assist Trophies. Lyn is one of my favorite characters so I liked seeing her appear in a 3D game. That stupid mole got annoying after a while. Sometimes, we just gave up fighting each other and tried to kill him until he finally left. He's like Kaepora Gaebora (OoT owl) for Smash Bros. He won't die no matter how much hatred you throw at him.

Pokeballs because...I like pokemon (except that goldeen!)
Assist trophies because I am curious to see the characters that appear for the trophies. My favorite of them all is either waluigi, nintendog (so cute!) or the mole off of animal crossing (please inform me of the guy's name; I need to know!)

My favorite item is probably the Beam Sword (yeah, that's right, not the Pokeball or Assist Trophy like everyone else). It's just so much fun to slash the stuffing out of your opponents with an expanding laser sword. Plus, it's a really fun item to use with Marth and Ike, since their side smashes become double sword attacks. Another reason I like it is because in the Subspace Emissary I use ROB with the Beam Sword holding sticker. With ROB, the Beam Sword has about a 90 degree swing, allowing you to clobber your opponents at any angle that is in front of you. Then, when you're done with the Beam Sword, just chuck it at your opponent as a decent projectile. I mean seriously, how many other games let you throw your sword at your enemies?

I released Ho-Oh from a Pokéball. While it was roasting my opponent, I threw another Pokéball into the middle of Ho-Oh's fire. Entei popped out. The chances of getting those two in a row in the same spot have got to be tiny. I was enjoying the insane amount of fire so much that I forgot to get a snapshot of it. I had also figured that I wanted to finish the battle and I could always come back and do it again (I wasn't thinking).

they can really take out opponents off screen and i'm great at placing them where they need to go
