They guy is probably just joking around. Kids did that to me all the time as a joke. However if this keeps happening and he is serious then I would just try to avoid him and just explain to him it is a coincidence, but most likely he is just joking haha.

Let him think you are a stalker. As long as you KNOW you aren't one then it will be fine. Besides in the real world, one person's opinion out of everyone's doesn't make that much of a difference most of the time.
