Elara : No, my parents have vinyls too, and I love listening to them, I just mean that I feel old because cassettes were still used pretty often in my lifetime. The car my dad uses was bought when I was ten, and it has a cassette player, and the first "sound system" I got (a cute little purple kid's boombox XD) had a cd player and a tape player. Now everything is digital, so it makes me feel nostalgic. After all, once upon a time, we had to rewind! :O

BTW, I noticed you put Nightwish on your list. Fantastic band, their original singer (Tarja Turunen) actually inspired me to sing, and now I'm studying vocal performance in college :-) one of my faves, glad to find another fan.

I miss Tarja. I mean, I have finally adapted to the new singer and she is cool and all, but yeah. That is awesome that you've chosen a path like that, best of luck to you!

And yeah, if it makes you feel better, my first little radio thing was only cassette, ah the early 90s. Granted, I was pretty young when I had that. But yeah, so glad we don't have to rewind anymore! Now we just worry about file corruption
